Carter Clinics provides confidential and compassionate gynecological care for patients at different stages of life. Our services focus on reproductive health, menstrual concerns, contraception, menopause, routine screenings, and other conditions affecting the female reproductive system.
Our healthcare professionals take a patient-centred approach by considering each patient’s symptoms, medical history, concerns, and personal healthcare goals. When further investigation or specialized treatment is required, Carter Clinics may coordinate referrals to gynecologists, diagnostic facilities, hospitals, or other appropriate healthcare providers.
We understand that gynecological concerns can be sensitive and personal. Our team provides a respectful, private, and supportive environment where patients can discuss their symptoms and receive clear information about available assessments and treatment options.
Depending on each patient’s needs, care may include routine examinations, cervical screening, menstrual health assessment, contraceptive counselling, menopause support, diagnostic testing, treatment recommendations, and referrals for specialized care.
Our coordinated approach may involve physicians, nurses, gynecologists, diagnostic specialists, and other healthcare professionals based on the patient’s condition and required treatment.
When additional testing, diagnosis, or specialized treatment is needed, Carter Clinics may recommend or coordinate referrals for laboratory testing, diagnostic imaging, specialist consultations, hospital-based procedures, or other appropriate healthcare services.
Before your first appointment, please bring a valid photo ID, your Ontario health card or insurance information where applicable, a current medication list, and any relevant referral letters, medical reports, imaging results, or test records.
During the initial consultation, a healthcare professional will discuss your symptoms, menstrual and reproductive health history, current medications, and healthcare concerns. Based on this assessment, we may recommend an examination, diagnostic testing, a personalized treatment plan, follow-up appointments, or referral to an appropriate specialist.
Our team supports patients with a broad range of gynecological and reproductive health concerns. We encourage patients to seek professional advice whenever they notice persistent discomfort, unusual symptoms, or changes in their menstrual or reproductive health.
